Morris Minor series MM/II

Morris Minor series MM/II

Product

E70 - Morris Minor series MM/II - N Gauge

Details

Comes in kit form and requires painting.

Introduced 1950.

Although the launch of this car was officially made in 1948, development work had taken place during WWII and a prototype (the Mosquito) had run as early as 1943. The car was the barin child of Alec Issigonis and the original Series I model had the headlamps enclosed within the grille area. In order to meet lighting regulation in the USA the lamps had to be raised and this sson became standard in the UK, first on the Series MM (introduced in 1950) and then on the Series II which arrived in 1952 (the differences between the two variations were technical and our model is suitable to portray both versions).

The model features a split front windscreen.
