William Morris had been producing cars for many years and some light vans had been built on car chassis from 1913. In 1924 he registered a Commercial Car Company and assembled a 1 ton truck which with small updates lasted in production until 1939. It utilised some car components and had pneumatic tyres and lights as standard. Known as the K type it is claimed to be the first mass produced British Truck
